The Interactive Exhibition
is the first step of Occhioincamera, that is the acquisition of theoretic instruments, basis where to start from so to achieve the practical realization of a TV subject with TV Set.

First of all, fun!
this is the strategy to better and quicker learn the basis of an apparently complex and intricate language.
The camera and its movements, the shots and sequences, the light and the emotions linked to it: specialists and educators will disclose all this through 6 steps, in a journey rich of games, stories to create, colorful sets to shot, to liven and light up, to transform….

FUNCTIONING OF A CAMERA
A camera, a tripod supporting it, a castle to film, a television reproducing it precisely… A way to find out what and how our third eye can observe reality: focus, white balance, zoom, various controls for recording and to see what has been recorded.

SHOTS
Could a camera write, frames would be its words. Details, close ups or full shots are used to focus on a person and their details; choosing between medium-long shot, according to the subject and the surrounding. A game of cards will better explain this concept, helping children to match the shots to their meanings.

SEQUENCE
After the single word, the sentence, that is how to choose and edit frames to tell a story. Four subjects to use in 3 short adventures, thanks to the logical sequences of the shots.

POINTS OF VIEW
From the top or bottom, from the right or left side… Is there a best direction to look from when observing objects? According to the point of view we choose, an image conveys different and various emotions and shades of meaning. A landscape in miniature will demonstrate how to set a camera to explain what is on your mind.

LIGHT
Lights and shadows are not only the essence of cinema, TV and images - such a difficult point to be taken by children - but also an essential element to stress the emotions of a story, charging it with drama or filling it with quietness.

CAMERA MOVEMENTS
In how many ways can we film moving objects such as a car racing or a cat walking? As the eye follows precise laws found in nature, the camera has its own rules. An animation game will be of help experimenting panning, tracking and other basic shots and camera movements.
